Duesenberg's German Dinners

Duesenbergs American Cafe is primarily a breakfast & lunch facility. That left the facility open for dinners. In the fall of 2011, Frau Christine Seiler approached Duesenberg's with the idea of providing home-style, traditional German food for dinner. News about the German Dinners  has spread primarily by word-of-mouth, although there was a nice article in the Catonsville Patch. Now City Paper Best of Baltimore - click here for article.

The goal of our restaurant

is to provide traditional German food in a healthy, low fat (yes German food can be low fat) manner that also tastes great. We serve a limited menu which provides a sampling of various German foods. Our menu will vary periodically with the seasons.  Our food is made from scratch - even the desserts!

It has been too long since the Baltimore area had a good German restaurant. The wait has ended.

Beer & wine

Please note: we do not have a liquor license, but you are welcome to bring a bottle of wine or some good German bier.

German Clubs and Students

This is a great opportunity for you to use or practice the German language. Christa would be happy to speak with you in her native tongue. If you are visiting as a group, please make arrangements in advance as seating is limited
